“I don’t normally post anything like this besides joyous occasions with my kids, my wife, and my family. With that said, I felt compelled to share my absolute sadness and still disbelief for the passing of my great friend, William Distelcamp. Bill was an absolute genuine and positive soul,” Mario wrote.
He went on to recount the lasting impact William had on his life, stating, “He was one of those very rare people that we could only hope to cross paths with, let alone call my great friend.”
Mario fondly remembered William’s infectious smile, tremendous sense of humor, and unwavering positivity. “He was so full of life and had so much to offer this crazy world we live in before his life was cut short way too soon. I will forever hold all the memories and laughs we had together, my brother. I thank you so much for coming into my life and being a great friend. I love you, Bill.”
